As the Germans seize the North Sea, the British walk into St. Petersburg as the Russians occupy Sweden. Meanwhile, the Italians retreat from Tyrol as the Russians and Austrians clash with the Ottoman Empire along the Black Sea coast.
Huge clashes in the Western Mediterranean as Roman and Punic fleets engage in total war, stalemating in most areas except a breakthrough in the Berber Sea! As the Carthaginians and Egyptians compete for Leptis Magna, the Pharaohs set aside their differences with the Macedonians and trade Crete for Cyprus as the Persians amass fleets of the Levantine coast. Meanwhile, the Greeks face setbacks in Illyria and Scythia, but make advances in the Hellespont as they threaten Southern Italy.
Next move (spring 2AD) is Friday, as usual. Also it has come to my attention that what I’ve been calling Syria is in fact Persia, so I’m going to start calling them that since it makes a lot more sense.
As the British stage an amphibious landing in Norway, the French occupy Wallonia and Spain as the Royal Navy clashes with them over Brittany. Meanwhile, the Balkans are partitioned between the returning Ottomans and Austria, while Italian troops occupy Tyrol from behind as the assault on Trieste continues. As the Russians gather behind the Carpathians, German troops occupy Holland, Denmark, and Switzerland, marking what is sure to be far from their last aggressive expansion.
Build moves still due Sunday, they’re not very complicated. Sorry about the delay, technology seems to be an issue (just email/text me directly, lnordquist@stalbansschool.org, that’s where submitting moves goes anyway)
As Roman troops hurry to the Limes, the Greeks send an expedition to the Black Sea. The Carthaginians make their move into Sardinia while crossing the Straits of Gibraltar into Europe. Meanwhile, Greek and Egyptian forces clash over Crete as the ever aggressive Syrians take Judea and Pontus in one fell swoop.
Builds tomorrow (Carthage, Rome, and Syria have three; Egypt and Macedonia two). Builds only allowed in home supply points.
As Syria invades the Levant, Carthaginian forces begin invasion of Libya and prepare to cross the Pillars of Hercules. Rome plants the eagle in Sicily but sends forces north as Macedonia sends an expedition beyond the Danube and takes to the Aegean as Hellenic warriors streak towards Dalmatian plunder.
Germans invade Denmark and Switzerland as the French seize Iberia! The Austrians and Turks make their moves in the Balkans! Clashes in the Julian Alps as Italy and Austria battle!
